For over 20 years now Michael has been a strong member in the Australian Beauty Industry, sharing his makeup beliefs and tips too many women. He enjoys educating them on best practices of makeup application, from red carpet to classic daywear looks, bringing confidence and energy forward through new found emotion, by adding structure and shape to the face.

From growing up as a Dancer and then moving to Sydney with L’Oreal Luxe in 2006 from Perth, Michael conquered new challenges and opportunities where his attention to detail pushed him to the forefront of his career. He gained attention from the Fashion and Beauty industry quickly by directing many large backstage teams at some of Australia’s largest Fashion Shows… It was here he first got to work with homegrown talent of Jennifer Hawkins and Miranda Kerr, who he worked with for many years, especially Miranda being her exclusive Artist in Australia for the end of 2020 and continues that relationship today.

Michael’s first International celebrity face was Gisele Bundchen on a whirlwind 2 day visit to Australia and in the years after he worked his touch with Oscar Award Winning Juliette Binoche, Fashion Icon Sofia Richie Grainge and Super Model Alessandra Ambrosio.

With great communication skills and work ethic, along with his outgoing personality, Michael has built some great relationships within the Australian Beauty Media and has been quoted/guest contributed in titles such as; Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, & InStyle Magazine, as well as many digital platforms like Gritty Pretty, Popsugar & Grazia. He also gained recognition from top Beauty Author Paula Begoun (Paula’s Choice) when his makeup tips were published in book The Best Skin Of Your Life Starts Here and wrote an entire Makeup Artistry chapter in Bahar Etminan’s Book, Rescu Me!.

He is now a regular contributor to trade magazine, Retail Beauty, sharing all his 20+ years experience in the industry with a sales edge, motivating others working in retail cosmetics, where his own career started.

Michael is using all his experience from Training/Facilitator roles over the years to educate women further through TV presenting roles such as his regular appearances on Channel 9’s TODAY EXTRA program, where he has shared trends, techniques and Beauty Q/A’s to a large Australian morning television audience for 12 years.

Continuing his media roles saw him go down a new path of Podcasting in early 2022, Co-hosting Skinfluence, a podcast for all beauty lovers, owned and managed by the Nova Network, with 70 episodes of educational beauty banter on offer wherever you listen to your podcasts.

Michael also aligns with many cosmetic houses, media, stylists and corporate clients- such as, Westfield, Amazon & OPSM - as an MC, Host/Presenter and has even interviewed the likes of Ruby Rose, Delta Goodrem, Dannii Minogue and YouTube megastar Nikkie de Jager (Nikkie Tutorials) in front of hundreds of fans.

A lover of beauty education, Michael has designed, as well as facilitated training programs to further educate and increase sales for brands - through an artistry mindset - with application techniques, plus realistic modern tips where he has always excelled with his passion for the industry.

Michael also gained large brand ambassador roles with global brands like St Tropez Tan, where he regularly travelled to London Fashion Week to head up their backstage teams. He’s also held other ambassador titles over the years like, South East Asia/Australia Regional Artistry Ambassador for Marc Jacobs Beauty, Hair Tools Ambassador for VS Sassoon, Lash Expert with Ardell Lashes, Skin Partner with Olay and Hair Styling Pro with Moroccanoil - All brands that have been featured within his kit for years!

He also was once appointed Beauty Director for the David Jones Beauty Tribe campaign, where he facilitated in-store masterclasses and presented 6 'Beauty Edit' tutorial videos, cementing his authority across the Australian beauty industry. He Regularly also shares his makeup skills for events with Myer and was the Beauty Expert for the Australian Turf Club, sharing his trackside racing beauty trends to the thousands that attend.

Michael has experience with Television, Runway Makeup Design, Fashion & Beauty Shoots, Media, Backstage teams, Presenting, Facilitating Workshops, Social Media Content Creation, Beauty Writng, Podcast Host and more. He strives on the Education of makeup and hopes to continue his Tutorial work to give all women Makeup Artist secrets to succeed with all things beauty.
